Puto Flan and Cupcakes with Buttercream frosting

I’m sooo excited to try this recipe because my fb friend keep posting her puto flan recipe and it looks so delicious and I wanted to try it on myself so I did a small research about the ingredients and the procedure as well.

I have done leche flan before but this is different and also I was thinking to sell it to have some additional income. Yay!
Also my whole family loves puto so I tried puto flan for a change. 

I sell it for 100 pesos for 12 pieces.... smiles:-)

 I also just want to share my experience of finally impeding one of my biggest challenges...the frosting.

I am always amused by the thread on facebook about cupcakes with buttercream frosting. I followed and likes all cupcakes frosting pages on facebook and joined different groups because I wanted to learn on how to make a frosting.

Because it's Arkhin's birthday so I decided to make cupcakes with buttercream frosting.

These cupcakes have a rich chocolate flavor and vanilla top with buttercream frosting.

So deliciously delicious!

Puto Cheese Espesyal

Cheese Overload

I love Puto but haven't tried making them though as in NEVER. But I think it's about time since my Husband and My Son also loves puto specially when it's flavored puto. I came across for the perfect recipe and glad my Mom handed me her old recipe book. 
So no hassle.

This muffins are definitely a piece of cheesy and fluffy. I adjusted the measurement for each ingredients because I made 2 cups or 16 tablespoons of flour and since I don't have a measuring cup I converted it into tablespoons. In this recipe, I was using MILO one sachet for the Chocolate or Mocca tint. I couldn't find chocolate bar in our fridge so maybe next time.I was so glad I have found my hand mixer. It was a company Christmas give-away last year so t'was awesome!

My Husband and Son tried it and they said it was so yummy up to the last bite! :-)
If you have a steamer, you might want to try this one. It is so easy to follow.


Note:  You can adjust the measurement depending on the quantity of the Puto you want to make.

 Puto Cheese and Chocolate Puto with Cheese in a box

(I sell them for 3 pesos each, yes right,just THREE pesos :-)

Ingredients:

1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated white sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup fresh milk
2 eggs
Cheese
 1/2 cup water

Additional For Flavored Puto:

UBE - 1 teaspoon Ube essence flavor/tint
PANDAN - 1 teaspoon essence flavor/tint
CHOCOLATE - 1 bar of any chocolate brand melted


Procedure:


Step 1.

In a large bowl, combine all purpose flour, baking powder and sugar. Mix well.


Step 2.

Add eggs, fresh milk and water.Beat until smooth or until well blended.


Step 3.

Arrange in a steamer. Steam for about 8 to 10 minutes.


Step 4.

Arrange in a serving plate. Serve and Enjoy! :-)

It's a bit of schlep to reach the falls, you have to drive up an unsealed road to get to the village of Tambongan,Cadapdapan,Abilihan and #Can-umantad where the falls was located. The access road is rutted and extremely glassy when wet. It takes some 370-odd steps going down and a seeming eternity getting back up,but once you reach the falls, all is worthwhile. The waterfall is soooo beautiful, amazing, spectacular!

I live in Bohol for my entire life and without knowing that this is the best falls that I´ve ever seen.

Arkhin's First Day of School

Okay,so today was arkhin's first day of school. Everyday was a wonderful and exciting morning for him and edgy morning for me. He was always full of energy wanting to get his new uniform and ofcourse his yogurt and lava cake for snacks. He love cakes so much.

No -Bake Oreo Cheese Cake

My friend told me that she made a delicious No-Bake Oreo cheesecake so I asked the recipe immediately. I just thought it was perfect because I made it during the fiesta which served as the dessert,but I was screw up on my first attempt.FAILED! she didn't gave me the exact measurement of the ingredients so I  was very disappointed and was hesitant to try again that I might fail. But I really wanted to try. I was really a second rate trying hard :-) hahaha but hey! It tasted so good! Glad I came across the web for the best recipe.Well, Oreo cheesecake is something everyone should really try. 

My first attempt.... It tasted good but not really firm . 

I don't think this is a cheese cake :-(

Ingredients:

Chocolate Oreo
All purpose cream
Cream Cheese
Butter
Chocolate (Any brand will do)
Condensed Milk


Procedure:


Step 1.
Crushed the Oreo. Afterwards, melt the butter in a separate pan.


Step 2.
Mix the melted butter to the crushed oreo. Spread all over the base. 
NOTE: This is your first layer 


Step 3.
Combine  all purpose cream,cream cheese and condensed milk. Mix well.


Step 4.
Spread all over the base. Put as a second layer to the crushed oreo. 
Note: Save mixture for the third layer


Step 6.
Melt Chocolate. Add melted chocolate to the remaining mixture of all purpose cream, cream cheese and condensed milk. Mix well. Spread as the third layer and your done!


Step 7.
Refrigerate.

A Love Letter To Baby Arkhin

Dear Baby Arkhin,

Time flies so fast and now you are grown up and I love watching you grow everyday. You will be turning 10 months old this monday and I am so excited! Well, its probably all the way parents feel because we are now on a first birthday countdown! Too way exciting! Im on the fledge of planning for your birthday.

You're officially crawling and your good at it,wow!. You wake up early as 4am and you crawl over the top of me and your papa. You are simply amazing baby. You now say clearly mama, papa,bah bah, tah tah. You can now stand on your own on your crib and you had your first step and hoping that you will have your first walk next month. You enjoyed with your walker very much and cookie,biscuit and wafers are your favourites!

If you see me walk in or your papa you literally squeal as if to say pick me up mama! Pick me up papa!

Motherhood has changed me and my life. How drastic even small things like the fact that all of my pictures on my celphone used to be of me but now, all of my pictures on my phone was all about you baby. I was blessed with dashingly cute and handsome baby boy.

Exciting Stuff: Baby Arkhin's first meal

My baby starting moving on to solid when he was six months old. What made me felt excited was feeding him with those little spoon,pink lipped mouth covered with baby food and the happy giggles of my baby who loves cereals. I used to gave him cerelac mixed fruit and banana flavored.Yet, at first it was so hard to feed him because he used to oppose the food IDK if he likes the flavor or what. I had to called my hubby to performed a wiggle wiggle dance to let my baby focused and ate! Haha.

A 3 spoonful of cereal 3 times a day and a bottle of milk in between. I already changed his formula from S26 to S26 Gold and He loves it.

God's Greatest Gift - MY SON

My husband and I were so happy and excited when we found out we were having a baby boy. 
When my husband and i were picking out boy names,He wants the idea of combining our names but we dont get any nice name combination. So since we also liked the idea of A and F which his name (hubby) starts with A and my name starts with F. So, we named our precious one, Arkhin Felippe.

The happiest and most exciting day of my life was when my son, Arkhin Felippe was born on March 5,2014, Ash Wednesday at 6:49AM  at 2800g and 48cm in length! I'm giving birth through normal delivery at 38 weeks gestation.

I have been blessed with many happy moments in my lifetime.

When my son was born, and the nurse show him to me,i cannot describe what i felt,but it was unforgettable. My son is my greatest accomplishment, my happiness and my life.This child have taught me much when it comes to life and love.
